Little Everglades Fun In The Country Drive. January 9th, 2011.
Last year on November 29th, 2009 the Little Everglades Fun Drive held it's inaugural drive. And let me tell you...it was TOO MUCH FUN! If you missed the drive last year then be sure to add the January 9th 2011 Fun In The Country Dive to your calendar. You won't be disappointed!
Little Everglades Fun in the Country Drive- Where nice people win! January 9, 2011 was the day of the LER Fun in the Country Drive. The cool early morning was replaced by warmth and sunshine as the drivers got started on this Fun Drive. Drivers and their horses, ponies, vse, mules, and donkeys were ready to begin at the start line that was located on the Steeplechase track allowing a beautiful drive on the track past the fountains and then out into the countryside. Upon encountering the first obstacle, a giant ninja panda, the drivers could "bribe" the volunteer judges for extra points! Our volunteers certainly did feel appreciated! Extra points were also gained by donating to Soldiers Angels. Among the other obstacles were spelling words out in the dressage arena, a hazard of hay bales that were made into cows, pigs, and ducks, driving onto the cattle weigh scales and guessing the weight of your rig, a blindly driven cones course, a nautilus spiral, and washer pitch! Points were given for correctly completing the obstacles and for the time on course compared to a secret completion time! Many drivers also gained extra points for their creative spares kits! Come join us next year for the most fun you'll ever have on a drive! 
Entry fees are $45.00. Wash racks are plentiful, come drive with us!
